About the project
Parkinson's Disease - A disorder of the central nervous system that affects movement, often including tremors has no specific cure.
Care & Cure for Parkinson's, is a music & dance fundraiser event organized by Parikh Parivar Foundation, based in the USA, who wanted to contribute towards Micheal J Fox foundation's research focusing on finding a cure for Parkinson's disease.
My Role
Nalini & Shyam Parikh of the Parikh Parivar Foundation approached me to design a logo for the event. I started off with understanding what is Parkinson's, the values of the foundation. Based on the research done, I came up with a few concepts & iterations for the logo design. Based on the options, the one that connected best with the brand, was chosen as the final logo.

Explorations
Sketching Ideas
I started by sketching out ideas based on empowerment, care and togetherness. Keeping in mind the need to have a simplistic logo, I shortlisted one idea and then explored variations of it, which ultimately led to the final logo. This was then used on the website for the fundraiser.
